What this site collects, and where it goes.

Two forms send email, and the site counts page views and clicks under a random id. Here is what each one carries and who handles it.

The contact forms

Send to Nupixl emails us what you entered in that form: your name, your work email and your answers. For a pilot, that’s the company, the project line, project type, stage, size and what’s slowing the project down.

The email goes through Resend, an email delivery service, to a Nupixl inbox, with your address as the reply-to so we can write back. The site has no database: that email is the record.

Email me this plan

On How it works, “Email me this plan” sends the example plan you opened to the address you give, through Resend. We get a copy, so we can answer if you reply.

The email holds the example’s own text. Nothing you type goes into it besides your address.

What the site counts

Page views, how far down a page you scroll (a quarter, half, three quarters, the end) and clicks on the main buttons. When a form is sent, that’s counted too, but not what it said.

Each count carries a random id your browser makes on your first visit and keeps, the page’s address, the address of the page that linked you here, your window size, and which of two home page headlines you were shown. We test two, and show the better one more often.

Counts go to this site’s server, which passes them on to PostHog, an analytics service, when analytics is switched on. When it’s off, they’re dropped. The server doesn’t pass on your IP address, and it tells PostHog not to build a profile.

What stays in your browser

No cookies: the site doesn’t set any. It keeps these entries in your browser’s local storage:

np_id
The random id your counts carry.
np_hero_v2
Which of the two headlines you see, so it stays the same next time.
np_roadmap_seen
What the roadmap looked like on your last visit, so we can tell you what changed. It never leaves your browser.

For as long as a tab is open, it also keeps np_pulse_pending in session storage: the roadmap stage to highlight once. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes all of it, and a new id is made on your next visit.

Asking for deletion

To have your messages, a plan email or a browser’s counts deleted, ask through the contact page, from the address you used. For counts, include the browser’s id: it’s in your browser’s site storage for nupixl.com, under np_id.
