Nexa.
A design system and CMS built so new pages ship fast without breaking consistency.
Overview
Nexa, a business communications and answering-service company, needed its marketing site to keep pace with a growing product line without every new page becoming a bespoke design project. Nupixl was engaged to build a shared design system and rework the site mobile-first.
Challenge
Pages had accumulated without a consistent system behind them, so type, spacing, and components were rebuilt from scratch each time. CRM and analytics integrations were handled manually and broke silently during outages or rate limits. Layouts were designed desktop-first even though most visitors arrived on mobile.
Approach
Nupixl built a token-driven design system for type, color, spacing, and elevation that works consistently across the site, documented so design and engineering share the same language. We then redesigned every page mobile-first, prioritizing thumb reach and scroll rhythm based on real analytics rather than assumption.
Execution
Starter templates let new pages assemble from existing components instead of being designed from scratch. Sections were reordered based on real engagement patterns, with sticky CTAs and inline summaries added to reduce cognitive load — improvements that benefited desktop visitors too. On the backend, CRM, analytics, and changelog feeds were connected through standardized integrations with health checks and fallback states, and a new editing workflow added roles, review states, and rollback procedures.
Results
Nexa's marketing site now runs on one coherent system instead of a patchwork of one-off pages. New pages ship faster because they assemble from documented components, integrations degrade gracefully instead of breaking silently, and the editorial team can publish daily with the confidence that mistakes are reversible.
[ RESULTS ]
NEXAType, color, spacing, and elevation tokens now drive every new page, cutting handoff churn between design and engineering.
